it is just a chair or is it?

it is just a chair or is it?

it is a lasting reminder of my past.
part of my childhood and my family.looks like something it is.
perhaps it is a chair.
perhaps it is a base .
or it is a stop , a place to rest.
perhaps it is a place for eating.
making a solution for dinner.

the making of a sculpture .
perhaps the addition of glass objects have transformed it.
no longer a place to sit.
the function has become symbolic.

it is part of the collection of items that are required for me to communicate.
it also has my pattern of sculpture on it .

patterns develop like my typing .
patterns repeat but may start simple and become more complex.

i started with simple thoughts and that led to expressing my intelligence .
it is now an integral part of my work.
perhaps it is more than just a chair.
