looking at the laptop
looking at the laptop it is no longer functional.
the voice is gone replaced with sculpture.
in the here and now the computer has lost the former capacity.
using the laptop as part of sculpture is going in a different direction.
it is now for making art not communication.
the computer as art is a joining of my worlds.
it is a commingling of expressing my real thoughts and artistic self.
the computer gave me a voice and made participation possible in school.
it also led to the opportunity for exploring all sculpture.
now it is a vehicle for presenting my work and my intelligence through typing.
this laptop was given to me for the purpose of art.
the person who contributed it also gave me the tools to demonstrate
my abilities.
using the laptop was a turning point in my life .
it became my voice and is now part of my permanent art collection.
